Advocacy

What exactly IS advocacy?? We hear it more often these days but so many are confused as to what it actually MEANS.

Advocacy is a process of supporting and enabling people to:
  • Express their views and concerns
  • Access information and services
  • Defend and promote their rights and responsibilities
  • Explore choices and options.
  • To give aid or support to
To that end, we are voices in recovery that advocate for those struggling with substance abuse disorder and mental illness, as well as their families.
